Yes, our non-stick plates are food safe

No, the plates cannot be removed.

Always unplug the waffler and allow it to cool. Wipe the inner plates and outer housing with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners. Do not place it in the dishwasher.

When your Waffle Maker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.
