Our Story
What started as reminiscing on fond childhood memories of smiley face pancakes made by his mom, founder Howard Greenspan developed WaffleWow to take breakfast up a notch for his own kids. First came the Smiley Face Waffle Maker, a nod to his beginnings, which were soon followed by other waffle shapes he wished he had as a kid- like cars, animals, and dinosaurs.
In February 2020, Greenspan set his sights on the crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter, hoping to find like-minded breakfast enthusiasts. After going viral on social media, over 4,000 people supported his campaign to create the Building Brick Waffle Maker, raising over $250,000. It was this breakout product that put WaffleWow on the map!
The design team is hard at work finding new ways to innovate breakfast and make sure that the most important meal of the day is also the most fun. With a comprehensive line that suits many personalities and countless more in production, our wafflers are sure to WOW all!
